Though Maian Pediatrics is to provide high quality health care for families, infants, children and adolescents with compassion, innovation and the most up to date information.
Thomas Erskine, M.D., FAAC
Was born in Scotland and come to the United States with his family at the age of nine. He grow up here in the Valley and finished high school at Moon Valley High School.
He Proudly served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
He attended ASU and completed his BS in Zoology, before attending Medical School At Ross University for he MD degree.
He attended Creighton University for a Family Practice Residency.
Then Texas A&M University as Chief Resident for his Pediatric Residency.
At the University of Miami, He did his followship in Pediatric Critical Care.
Where he met his wife Claudia. They moved back to Arizona to be with family and friends. They have two beautiful children.
Dr. Erskine has worked for the past ten years as a hospitalist throught different groups at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Scottsdale (HonorHealth) Banner Hospitals, Thunderbird and Desert as well as
Maricopa Intergrated Health Systems.
He is Board Certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
In 2011 Dr. Erskine joined Medical Hands for Healing Mission to Rivas, Nicaragua. They completed over fifty surgery cases in five days.
